The Gospel is the story of the world’s most dangerous yet successful “rescue mission” is found in the Bible.
God loves me so much
Know that God overwhelmingly loves you. His love for you has no limits and he has always watched over you. But he leaves you free to decide if you want to love Him in return. All He wants you to know is “Love is forever”. And if you want, he will show you how much you count for Him!
“Because you are precious in my sight
and honored, and I love you,” (Isaiah 43.4)
I live as if God does not exist
Unfortunately, we have been separated from the love of God by our sin. This is choosing to live our life without His Presence.
We sin against Him when we turn our backs to God. All of a sudden we feel so insecure. And that destroys our relationships with friends, family, and in our couple.
The Gospel says the final end of our sin is death. Physical death we see all around us. But many are still alive, but with death and auto-destruction that lives in their souls.
” All have sinned and fall short of the glory (Presence) of God.” (Romans 3.23)
The gospel (good news) says that Jesus died so that I can live.
In spite of our behavior, God has never ceased to love us. And He proves it. He came down on this earth as his Son Jesus (the name which means God saves). Because of our state of sin, we were dying a little every day from our birth until our death. And we couldn’t escape the inevitable. But by dying on the cross, Jesus paid for all the consequences of our behavior.
The Good News is (“Gospel”) Jesus came back to life to reconcile us with the Father. When we believe in Jesus we get to enjoy His love, joy, and peace and receive a new life.
” For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit” (1 Peter 3.18)
The Gospel offers us the possibility to choose today.
God did everything possible to show how much He cares about you. Jesus came to give us a second chance. He will help and accompany you in your daily walk. And more than anything he will give meaning to your life.
But you are free to choose. You can refuse to accept this incredible gift of “newness in life”. Or pray that God forgives you for ignoring Him for so long. You have tried everything else, haven’t you? And all that did was get you “lost”. Invite Jesus to come into your life. By reading the Gospels (the Word of God), he will help you get a new start in life.
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (It’s a Promise !) (Acts 16.31)
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new”. (2 Corinthians 5.17)
Here is a prayer you can say
“God of love, thank you for having loved me as I am (with all my past). I see you want all the best for my life.
But I know I have lived without you up to now. I am willing to change directions and ask for your forgiveness.
Thank you for having forgiven my faults and that You died on the cross to pay the cost of my sins. And also to have conquered death, once and for all) by your resurrection.
I want to trust You and I pray: “Come into my life. Help me to discover your love in the Bible. And help me to realize the projects you have for my life.”

You can buy a Bible in any major bookstore as well as in Christian literature distribution websites. Online platforms like Amazon also have a wide choice of versions.
There are many translations since the original languages (Hebrew and Greek) are very rich in meanings for a given text. But basically, we can recommend all of them. If English is not your first language or you had to leave school early, choose the Living Bible or Modern English versions. We use different versions on our website, namely: New Revised Standard Version, New American Standard Bible, New International Version, and the King James Version. But choose what is easiest to read for you.

· Find an evangelical church nearby where you can go for the Sunday services but also the weekday prayer meeting and Bible study. Like in a family, we don’t expect everyone to be perfect. But we have the same blood (of Jesus) that unites us. And the more we pray together, the more we stay together. God listens closely and sends His blessing there where there is unity.
